Zach’s new role of Melbourne Laboratory Manager will give him oversight of a large environmental laboratory first established in Melbourne more than 20 years ago.
Reporting to the State Manager, Zach will be responsible for the operational activities of the Melbourne Environmental Laboratory in Springvale. Zach will also regularly interact with the Adelaide shopfront and the team members working at this facility.
Zach, who is currently based in Townsville, began his career at ALS in 2011 as the ALS Environmental Service Representative in Mackay before being promoted to Central QLD Environmental Service Representative in 2012 overseeing both the Mackay and Gladstone Shopfronts. In 2013, Zach relocated to Brisbane and between then and 2015 progressed through Business Development Officer, Client Service Manager and Business Development Manager roles in the Brisbane Laboratory. In January 2016 Zach took on the challenging role of the Townsville Manager and was responsible for the development and implementation of the new Townsville Laboratory. In June 2017 Zach was appointed Queensland Regional Manager. In this role, Zach was responsible for the operational activities of the Townsville Laboratory as well as the Mackay, Gladstone and Roma Environmental Service Offices, with each of these sites reporting through to him. Zach also took a leading role in the direction and execution of Business Development and Client Maintenance activities for all regional QLD clients.
The Melbourne Environmental Laboratory has a very wide client base including industry direct, mining and environmental consultancies. As such the Melbourne Laboratory business offers a broad scope of analyses and capabilities to both current and prospective clients.
Please join me in congratulating Zach and supporting him in his appointment to this new and exciting role.
